Yep, excellent tip! BBC, Wildlife, HD, Basking shark. What more can you need on a sunday evening?

Yaffle

And where did they feature - my home, well the oil filled quarry is only two miles from my house!

yup just watched it and that oil filled quarry was a real surprise - awful, pretty clever using bacteria to clean it up.

I was wondering whether it was close to you foxfish. Yes clever use of bacteria but one has to wonder what the side-effects of using bacteria might be. Would be ideal if they just disappeared when the oil is consumed :)

The bacteria should only be able to survive as long as a food source was plentiful, so theoretically they would just eat all the oil and then die off. Bacteria are amazing things, you'd be surprised how many applications they have in modern life. I have a lecturer who is adamant that bacteria along with viruses will eventually take over the world, he is a bit odd though.

Greg.

Yes that's what I was thinking - but often these things don't go to plan. Bacteria adapt, find some other food source you didn't think of and then you have a problem. I've no idea what bacteria these are...

Bacteria and viruses have taken over the world a long time ago lol

Great programme and the Baskers were amazing, wouldn’t have minded bumping into a couple of those Spider Crabs either:p:p.
Keep watching folks as I've heard a whisper that there’s a bit of freediving in one of the episodes…?;);)

I've been waiting weeks for this series to air, and I wasn't disappointed one bit. I loved the ponies (top mount??), lack of trim, scraping DSMB's and torches along the sea bed, pulling mating crustaceans apart and grabbing wrecks to wonder at the marine growth on them.
Can't wait for next week. :)

Yes was really good but what did that hand break turn with the tanker have to do with anything? :)

Bugger all Simos, but speeded up it didn’t half look cool.
Just goes to show that given enough horse power you can yank anything round on its tail.roflrofl
