I have recently purchased a Beachat Arka Competition (115 cm), I want to put a reel on it. I have emailed Beuchat but have not recieved any reply. Anyone have any thought on which reel to use? Thanks for any help.

Certainly the most inexpensive solution would be to mount a 'universal' reel on your Arka Comp such as the one made by Imersion and some other brands. These can be attached to any 28mm diameter barrel with cable ties.

Both Beuchat reels - Mundial and Marlin - could also be used. However, both are quite expensive and very heavy. The latter comes with a set of brackets for 25mm and 28mm barrels and weighs less than the Mundial (244g (Mundial) vs. 134g (Marlin)).

A 3rd alternative would be the new Omer Match 30 or 50 which also features a universal adaptor.

Cheers

Great I will look into those. It has a mount rail on it, so maybe I can find one that fits. Thanks again.rofl
