What all will I need to succesfully spearfish in freshwater? Where is the best place to get good used gear? I am 6' 270lbs and pretty sturdy built, how much weight will I need, size suit? How many tanks? I can only afford the bare essentials for now, but give me the works also. What would be a good gun for panfish, bass, catfish? Do I need a camo suit? Is there a quality affordable underwater camera? Thanks

If you are targeting fresh water fish you will not need a camo wetsuit. if your a scuba diver I suggest you rent your tanks instead of buying them just until you get really into the sport. plus you will not have to put out as much money. if you need a speargun? I make very good spearguns for as low as $150.00. In fresh water you will not need a very long speargun at all. 90cm is just perfect! for all kinds of fresh water fish. I have a Friend of mine who sells underwater cameras if you would like one too? e-mail me and i will send you a very low price. I love spearfishing in fresh water when i was younger it's allot of fun you will like it!
