so i've read most of the posts about o2/co2 tables on the forum. most of the static times i see are way about what i can do. im still a little confused when it comes to making my own table. my max right now is 1:30. my question is how do i design a table that fits my abilities? I know how to design one but if i want to go 8 rounds increments of 15 seconds wouldn't work for me would they?

Doesn't have to be 15 sec increments. You change it to suit yourself. Otherwise, if you insist on doing the 15sec increments, you can have a couple of holds at your max instead of trying to increase the time once you hit your max during your tables.

Anyway, you'll most probably break the 1min 30sec barrier far too soon to worry about this.

thanks very much! im going to start training today. unfortunately the pool doesnt open for a week.

Make sure that you have a trained buddy with you if/when you're doing breath holds in any body of water. Your buddy has to known what to do in case of a black out.

thanks for the advice! yeah right now im just doing training above water (pool isnt even open yet) but i will make sure i do that when the pool opens.

ok so two days into doing tables i have gone from a max breath hold of 1:30 to 2:10. wow. this is so cool!
