Hi all.
I am a very new beginner but really want to get into freediving. I tried static dry apena and on my first day i got 3 mins and on my second 3.5 mins. I have no idea if this is a reasonable place to start training frokm, but does anyone have any advice on where i should go from here?

hey devondiver

doing 3 and 3.5 min on your first attempts is bloody good indeed.
if you now start to learn some more techniques (available in the forum) you´ll be certainly improving quickly.

another point i want to make is this : when going through the various posts one might get the idea that a 5 minute static is rather common. well, it might be for freedivers who train a lot but even the ordinary scuba folk (no offense;) ) can mostly just marvel at anything beyond 3 minutes. and those guys normally get shark tattoos or something.

so congratulations from me. good going. keep up the good work.
