On my last holiday my partner & I travelled to Fiji with the hope of getting an insight into a Fijian way of life. After a few days we got bored of hotel living and was put in contact with a Fijian Night Diving Fisherman on Beqa Island. Along with opening up their home and insisting we sleep on their bed. Cooking us 3 meals a day for a pricely sum of $30 fjd each per night along. The hospitality we received was incredible. They live on very little money and have a self sustaining way of life. Food is plentiful and comes from the either root vegetables, coconuts or fresh fish.

Attached is an album of the tools of Pename's trade along with one nights catch.
