Hello!

I just moved to Berlin Mitte between Rosaluxumburgplatz and Alexanderplatz (on Monday, lived here 3 years before)

I have been training once per week in the -5m at Olympiabad in Munich.

1) Is their a training group here in Berlin?

2) What pools do people recommend in general for actually swimming in rather than bathing? Any that don't mind people doing lengths underwater or wearing long fins?

3) Is there a pool that will let me swim with my monofin? (even above water)

4) Are any of the lakes around Berlin interesting to dive in when it gets to be summer?

I am not a serious competitor by any means. I just like to swim and dive and keep in practice. Also would be interested in meeting up with people to do weekend diving trips with.

Mostly looking for someone to keep an eye on me while doing statics or dynamics. If there is a deeper pool to play in that would be fun as well.

I have been freediving on and off for couple of decades.

My favourite and most comfortable diving is out in open water, followed by lakes, then by rivers, then creeks, and pools rank down there, but I still like being in the water.

I am comfortable diving around 20m to do stuff, like take photos, swim through little arches and such.

I mostly dive bi-fins, but I have a mono as well, I also like just swimming butterfly with my mono, but have not found a pool that will let me.

I am not especially interested in static, dynamic is fine but for me it is just pool training. I also like DNF and have been playing with CNF since I got a noseclip.

Interested in pretty much any watersports. 15 years ago I did competitive swimming in high school (specialty was butterfly & IM). These days I am not that fit, but enjoy the water.

Thanks for any leads!
