Fellow freedivers,
I'm looking to order a custom 5mm wetsuit for lake diving (Switzerland).

Do you guys have any recommendations for quality custom suits?

Cheeeeeeers

Elios and Diveskin suits both seem to be very popular among the DeeperBlue members and I don't think you'll go wrong with any of them. I recently received 2 new custom made suits from Elios: a 7mm meshskin/benthos and 5mm black shadow. Both have open cell inside. I also have an older (3-4 years of use) 7mm meshskin that has gotten too big for me (I have gotten smaller, the suit has stayed the same). I'm very happy with the fit of the new suits, especially the 5mm. I have only donned the new suits and not been in the water with them, but judging from my experience with the old suit I have no doubt they'll serve their purpose well.

XXOne was my choice two years ago and I am very satisfied with it.

Ocaner is best suit I ever had, but very fragille, Elios is also very good even cheapest ecoline, Diveskin (Oceanos) is not so good, but it is very good value for the price (I have one 5mil for static and ice/fresh water diving) very warm, but a bit hard. could be good for speerfishing

As the guys say - Elios & Diveskin are both very popular.
Elios is well known for quality but Diveskin is a lot less money!

Thanks a lot for your feedback guys. I've decided to go with the ever popular Elios suits. Now I need to make a decision from the recommendations that were made.

Which one of the two do you feel is most appropriate for lake diving (Lac Leman/Genev Lake) ?
Kanoko lining sounds really good. HAve any of you used it?

2) Suit 5mm New Black coating cell inside / Nylon elastic Black outside
Neoprene Heiwa Price Euro 238,00 (see photo 0132) This is the Top-model for
freediving, very elastic, warmth, adherent to the body, durable with lining
outside and good also for deep diving, but also very slippery to get into.

4) Suit 5mm open cell inside / Kanoko superstetch antitears outside Black
Neoprene Heiwa soft Price Euro 218,00 It's an ultra-soft rubber,
super-stretch, very very comfortable and very very durable with kanoko
reinforced lining outside, but for get into must use always talcum or
water-soap.

Thanks guys, you rock!!!!

Option 4) is the exact same suit as I just received. I haven't been in the water with it yet, but will within the end of the week. I'll let you know how I like it.

I have now tried the suit in the sea and it was simply perfect for my needs. The fit is like a second skin. Not too tight and no leakage of water into the suit.

The water temp was 13-14 C and I never felt anything close to cold. I even shot a new PB pollack (~4 kg) while I was out, so I'm quite happy. I strongly recommend the suit, no doubt about that.
