You are absolutely correct - the best book is the Manual of FreeDiving by Umberto, however you were replying to a thread that was around 4 years old so my responses at that time didn't include Umberto's book :)

you know, you could just go to a library and take them out. if not you can read them in the store, nobody ever cares. then you can buy the one you feel most (or photograph the pages, or take notes)
