actually I had 2:
1)On Feb 24th 2007 When i shared with DB my most precious moment in the thread i wrote from my phone in the hospital as my wife was delivering our first son Tameem...
2) it was in December 2006 (so close to 2007 ) when i did the commentary live on deeperblue for the freediving world cup in Egypt...the websites and tv werent boradcasting and i was the link...had a great time...

Best DB moment, bloody hell? Bgill's fins and associated story must be one of them.
Not a DB moment but my Ph.D graduation this summer was a high point :friday
Best DB moment, that’s a hard one but if I had to name them there would be two.
The first is the amount of good will and the response I got when I was in hospital with the old appendix job and the other would have to be the Guernsey holiday and the way those Guernsey boys opened there homes and showed us all around there beautiful island.

For me the best DB moment was April 11th. This was the date of the first contact for me with Sanso. He invited my wife and me to stay in his flat during our AIDA * / ** course in Lindau. This was the beginning of a friendship.
Since that time we dived a couple of times together and spent a unforgettable time in Dahab.

There have been many, but one that stands out is Holger's thread on his http://forums.deeperblue.net/introductions-greets/73615-underwater-marriage-ceremony.html. That was so sweet!
April 11th is indeed a date to remember. For some a positive date, but if you look at what happened on that date as well; 2007 April 11 | Shark Freediving

I think my best moment was meeting Emma Farrell through Deeperblue, she is a true kindred spirit.
The continous daily comedy on DB and uniform humour has always been a brilliant way of distracting myself from work stress.
Another moment for me was earlier this year when I went through a massive personal upheaval and received lots of continued support from the guys here, particularly podge, pastor, marwan,spaniard and icarus pacific.
Ooh yes not mention meeting icarus pacific in person in Hawai!! Cor! rofl
Roll on 2008, may it bring us all happiness and peace.
Take the bus or a taxi tonight guys! A safe New Years party to all.

For excellent moments, I'd have to say bgill's thread. It was truly inspirational and reminded me that miracles happen and kind people are still out there. I needed to remember those things.

Just found deeper blue this year when i was lounging about with my first fracture ever! Threads on building guns, the safety tips and links, everyone tolerating my primitive communication skills. Now, when i get home in the evenings, i get to plug in for a bit - OK its an addiction now!
