Hi All,

I've seen a few marine forecast websites (sometimes with working links, sometimes... :vangry to charts with time-lapse swells, winds, etc.). Unfortunately the best one I've ever seen was around a year ago, and I was too stupid to write down where I found it.

Where do you look for conditions? I've used the Weather Band but it doesn't have detailed/localized info, just mid-ocean swells it seems.

I do my diving in PV (Palos Verdes) and Laguna Beach if that matters...

Thanks!

- Dave

I personally like SCCOOS ... try this SCCOOS: Surface Winds for winds in your area. They also have current information, temps, swell heights, etc. all based on local NOAA buoys and other observation sites.

I'm also a member of Surfline (I pay for that site) which does a nice compilation.

Cheers,
mike
