What's the best way to store freediving fins between dives? Flat on the floor? Hang 'em? on their sides? I have a pair of Cressi Gara 2000 HFs and the blades always seem to pick up a bend or two.

I like to store mine so that they're out in the open, out of the sun and laying flat.

I lay mine down on a shelf (flat) with the footpockets hanging off the edge. This way if I don't use them for a while*, the natural curve of the blade/pocket area doesn't make the blades bend up over time. I don't know that, if bent, it would actually affect the performance of the fins, I just don't care for the 'curled up' look. All my fins have plastic blades; I doubt carbon or fiberplastic blades would have the same memory effect.

* This isn't to say that I don't go diving often, only that a 'lesser' favorite pair of fins may not see action for a few months ;).
