Anyone use a beuchat dive knife. I am looking at maybe the mundial daga 2 or the maximo standard. Anyone know the size of the maximo standard and the best place to order one from the US. Does it have a serrated edge on the back? I can't tell from the pics I find on the net. What is the deal with the detachable blade on the daga 2? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wow, are you lucky! I just happen to chime in on this post and to the best of my knowledge I have the only dive store that imports Beuchat knives (I think there may be one other, but I always have better pricing than that other store).

The Mundial and Mundial 2 are rather large so I suggest you consider Beuchats latest version the "Mini Mundial" with the optional forearm strap.

Beuchat Mini Mundial [Mini Mundial] - $38.95 : The Spearfishing Store

Beuchat Mini Mundial Arm Straps [Mini Mundial Arm Straps] - $9.95 : The Spearfishing Store

These are currently sold out, but I have a bunch on the way from france and the shipment should clear customs next week.
Thanks,
Jim
