I have the above gun which i enjoy using. Trouble is that I dived a new spot today and saw some great fish but they were slightly out of range. The spear actually poked one but had reached the extreme of its line!

Is it possible to increase the juice or range on this gun?

Thanks

I have the 85 which I use to shoot fish in holes and smaller fish in rocky areas. The other day a huge King Mackerel came right up to me and I just had too shoot him. The shaft barely made it through the fish even though I shot it at very close range. I have tried using an extra rubber band but the recoil is not well balanced. My brother has the 105 and has similar problems with 2 bands. I guess if you see larger fish you should get a bigger gun. The Riffe Euro 120X is a great choice and that is what I now take out with me. You might have to move out of holes to shoot in some locations, but if you see a large fish at least you will have the proper weapon to deal with it.
