I bought a 85cm Beuchat Marlin Competition for $300 w/ tax from a local dealer a few weeks ago. It flooded on the first dive, so I contacted Beuchat who said they would either fix it, tell me how to fix it, or upgrade to the Carbon version for $50, free postage. Is that something that you would do? Or should I just fix up the gun?

That's interesting I flooded mine too, so it must be a design fault. In the end I cut mine down to a 75 and filled it with foam; then upgraded to a carbon 85
