I just paid a deposit for a mundial competition 750 speargun, and should pick it up once all the paper work for the licence is ready.

I was wondering if any of you here use this speargun.

And how does it perform? accuracy, durability, range etc...

Is the trigger mechanism strong enough to hold 2 16mm bands without any issues.

Any known defects?

How does the triger mechanism compare to that of a merlin of the same size?

Now that i passed the application for the licence i can only consider beuchat spearguns. Not sure if the mundial is the best choice.

What i want is an all rounder gun good for tana, aspetto, aguato, and most of the time in the rocks, depth up to 20mtrs max, size of fish between 0.5kg and 4kgs, visibility is relatively good here, averaging from 5mtrs to 15mtrs, but rarely up to 25mtrs.

The only experience i have is with a small beuchat cavallero speargun 50cm, too small!
