I like the hydrodynamic body but not the muzzle and handle, muzzle is closed which i don't want to use and handle just does not feel good in my hand. I wonder if any member (especially french fellows) knows if excalibur 3000 muzzle and handle match to beuchat carbon elite body? Pin holes, rail height allignment etc etc...

The Mundial is female only, where as the Omer components are male & female ,made for about a 1.7mm side wall. Some have converted the Mundial muzzles into an open muzzle. It's suprising how non diy they look if done right. Ones I have seen have been filed down until just a little bit of the screw in cups are left, leaving an edge for the mono to slot into. Kinda hard to explain. The other thing is the Beuchat components are manufactured to a higher spear elevation than the Omer components.

you allways have the hammerhead muzzle option too

does hammerhead muzzle fit perfectly to beuchat mundial carbon elite body?

modfying existing muzzle is also another option but i really want to use excalibur handle on it.

Why not buying an Excalibur 3000?
I know you like the ellyptical barrell of the Beuchat, but what for? I have tried ellyptical or cuttlefish-bone barrells before, and I felt they're not bad for left/right tracking, but no good for up/down tracking. So why?

hi murat

i use those guns
the mundial elite carbon with spear on
is floating !! amazing but true
some people dont like theire gun to float when loaded
the rubbers are longer then the size its have to be
so the gun is a bit slow

you get with omer exc 3000 a very nice rail ( match 30)
stronger rubbers & open muzzle

i will go for the Excalibur 3000 defently good gun!!

Not sure if you know this Murat, but the inside of the Beuchat Mundial Carbon Elite is square! This may cause some problems if installing a male muzzle.

will think about this excalibur 3000 vs beuchat carbon elite.

mundial, how is the shooting accuracy and mobility of beuchat? since you say it floats i consider its not very well balanced...Does it also float at deeper water? i mean 20+ meters?

The great thing about a floating gun is it can in most cases be modified to sink. In the case of the Mundial it could be adjusted to sink balanced, front heavy or trigger heavy, & done in such a way not visible from the exterior.

murat it is equel with 7 mm shaft !!
i didnt go that deep with it
if you add reel of beuchat it will sink
as for the gun it is accurate

i decided to get seatec gabbiano 100 instead, i saw them on the shop and they are beauty, the thing is i have to wait for few months the seller to import the size i wanted. Probably they also perform good with double bands if your setup is correct, they have necessary mass and shape to absorb recoil.
