New Beuchat roller gun!! At least that is what I here on the grape vine, any one know more?

doesn't look like google has heard about it yet.

although roller guns in general look fairly cool.

never heard before, Foxfish. This sound strange, because I know there's a big problem with patents about industrializing rollerguns.
Seatec started producing rollers some three of four years ago, and they were said to be awesome guns. But they discontinued the series after a few months. Initially they said they just wanted to improve the gun and fix some defective details, but recently Seatec declared that the problem was legal: somebody (don't know who) holds a strongly detailed patent which prevents any factory to make rollerguns.
However, take this with a grain of salt: it's not a thing I know of my own, but just second hand information I had from Seatec's director.

From what I here it will be a big gun, blue water maybe? Some little snippets on Medfish.

taked to the beuchat folks at dema, didn;t hear anything from them. the 125cm Marlin carbon is rather sweet though....

Very basically, Pedro Carbonell is testing a prototype roller gun for possible 2008 release for Beuchat, along with some new carbon fins. It will be made of wood with some carbon finishing too. The photos are of Pedro carbonell with the prototype.

Really! how do you know that? You are normally two sheets at this time! rofl

I was more than 2-sheets last night :friday:friday Managed to do quick translation before going to Pub!!! Will see if there is anything further to add; the fins look good too!

They have longer bands which stretch under the barrel around rollers. This gives a much longer band pull, the whole length of the barrel, so a 60cm gun will have the power of say am 85cm gun. Also the because the band pull is both over and under the barrel, its flexing is much much less.

got it, thanks...
yes fox i am a member on medfish

Hi, here!
Has any one used the new and very good looking roller gun!
Can it really be hold in one hand?
Is it neutrally buoyant underwater?
