66m No-fins World Record !
DB news a bit slow.
Herbert did 66m on his second attempt, so is also new "real" world record. Congrats Herb!
Man you are just making it tough for the rest of us. :t

Cheers,
Wal

from "axel" in the guestbook www.freediver.co.uk:

"herberts -66m wr is official.

it was a bit of a diver logistic nitemare as after martins attempt and herberts 1st attempt the safety divers lifted the competition line and the official bottom camera man at -70m went to deco. after 2 dives (-104m / -70m)with each having a 6min. bottom time herbert breathed up and screamed "whats my time window?"

wr time to exchange / reset of bottom cam diver, safety divers, competition line: 8min.
(at night after sunset. - we returned at 2130hrs)...."

edit: i was a bit slow for walrus too!
