Hi,
Long time no write everyone. Anyway, Merry Xmas to all of you water-babies out there, and a very happy & peaceful new year.

Last week, was the feast holidays, and was a great time to go spearo in the north of the red sea, where its usually windy & murky, with choppy seas. Unbeleivably, the sea was dead calm, warm weather, clear skies, and 30m visibility. Now I've been diving these waters since a long time, and I've never come across these conditions before. So I'm in the water, hunting for grouper, sweetlips, emperors, breams, and I'm thinking, I feel like sachimii. How about a nice jack, which is not common at this time of the year.

Diving down to locate a grouper, I'm suddenly surrounded at close range with a school of 15-20 medium sized Trevallies. They're so close to me that I can't point my 90cm speargun to take a shot. Somehow I managed to go backwards slighlty, and holding the front end of the gun, I let go of the arrow, landing a 4-5 kilo jack!!! The rest of the school are circulating around their wounded partner, and I'm trying to arm the gun for another shot. By the time I'me ready , they've all but disappeared, allowing me only one shot.

Now is that coincidence or what. Many times, I think of a fish, chances are it will present itself. It's just crazy!!!

WOW.. great story Ashod...Now tell us what happened when you woke up..did you find yourself sleeping withouit the covers ? :):):):)
