I would like to welcome myself as a recent member to a special underwater community which shares the passion of the blue and silence. Living in Egypt has shown me how lucky one can be to have the gift of the red sea; Im new to the FD community but take a great interest in underwater activities as I look forward to submerge in many of its breathtaking spots around Egypt. Unfortunately the Egyptian community according to my knowledge is slow paced with local new comers as most FD's usually travel thousands of miles to be underwater over here.

The country has full of unexplored treasures which await many in warm waters; basically historians were wrong describing Egypt a gift of the nile, its true gift is the red sea- the geographical miracle. I would like to see a growing increase in its local FD community as well as any questions I can be helpful with by answering any of any kind!

Dive the Red Sea while its beauty is still there!

Hello Joey welcome to db.

I agree with the dive the Red Sea now idea, Egypt is safe and calm, the sea has almost no divers and the marine life is back.
People are saying it's like the good ol' days.
We went last month and saw schools of hammerheads and dolphins, silkys, oceanics, loads of stuff.
Holidays and diving is very cheap at the moment, grab a bargain and maybe the dive of a lifetime, go to Egypt.

@ Salehthefish- Thanks buddy neshofak orayeb nawa7ina we eh nezam el diving 3andak
@ devondave- Yea the reefs are totally quiet with little human visitors underwater, I was in sharm two weeks ago and the fish were all well and chilling as the tourism industry flunked recently. Lucky you for seeing the hammerheads, we saw almost everything and just needed some sharks to top off the dive weekend!

cheers
