That would be a sight to see! I haven't seen the video yet but would be truly an experience to be underwater at just the right time to capture that on film..
 
Awesome vid!

I had a similar experience with a cormorant when hunting octopus in Greece. Real cocky bird, it was getting super close and it actually attacked a kid that got too close when it was stealing fish out of a fish trap.

So... if a duck goes underwater during duck season, I guess you can spear him? :)
