I've never had one. And I am extremely curious about what it feels like.

For those of you who have had it:

Was it relaxing? Was it fun? Was it scary? Did it upset you? Did you have "dreams" while you were out? Did you have a headache or feel rotten afterwards?

Please share all the details!

i think i almost had one today (apparently it wasn't the best time to do tables that i can normally do). I just got really dizzy and the side's of my vision went black-ish.

I had two so far; one from hyperventilating and second from overpacking. Both done out of the water.

With hyperventilation I was doing a pb so I was also trying to push as muc has possible. I actually didn't know I blacked out until I watched a video of it happening. It was a pretty nice feeling, I felt relaxed and had this funny soothing ringing in my ears. No headache.

Second happened before my pb dive during competition (36m) which got me pretty scared. (Didnt know it can happen so easily :D ) So with 3-4 packs on land I start to get white tunnel vision, that day I wanted to see if its possible to get pass the white vision and continue holding. I took 5 packs and blacked out in few seconds. I had a nice dream of a sunset until my cousin woke me up. I was mad at him for waking me up and not knowing whats happening :D He said it lasted about 5 seconds but it seemed a lot longer for me. No headache this time either.

After all black outs aren't so bad, I dont like sambas much more :)

did once after 4 forced inhale-exhale....
i was before high-school...some collegues want to make fun of me and suceeded
after those inhale-exhale, all became black and white...saw most of my life in a blink of an eye and passed out
they revive me after few seconds...
never happened in the water, in dive or in training....

I had my closest experience to a BO last weekend at spearfishing competition. I moved out to the deepest ground as the reef meets sand looking for Pollock. I was diving 72 feet doing 1.30 bottom times with about 2 minute on the top ( Typing it now makes me think how dangerous that was! ) About 30 dives later i had stayed a little to long on the bottom waiting for fish to come into range and get a shot i swam up with burning legs and some strong contractions, Broke the surface and was so exhausted didn't have the strength in legs to keep my self up had to lie on back to rest for a moment. lesson learnt, Longer recovery times and dont stay down longer than normal for a fish!

Stay safe

Use the search function for B0, blackout, etc and you will find a host of accounts. Search for poster "unirdna" and "amphibious", look through their posts for several good(i.e., scary as heck) ones.
