 I really like my Picasso Black Team footpockets, but don't like the stiff blades, so I changed to SpecialFins BWs. The footpockets are really stiff, and you can feel the snap and power past the end of your foot when kicking with the setup. The problem is the blades don't really fit the footpockets. I used 3M 5200 to glue them in, but at odd moments (Kona last winter) they tend to pop out, leaving me for 2 days without fins, waiting for the glue to dry.

My question: Does anyone have any experience with fiberglass blades that fit Picasso footpockets well enough that glue isn't necessary?

I think you actually get black teams with carbon blades so you should be able to find them. That by the way is my next upgrade, to replace my plastic blades with carbons...

I use a pair of #2 Waterway blades and they are perfect. The Picasso BT foot pockets are the best pocket out there IMO. I went with Waterways on advice from Aharon Solomons last year while training with him at the Blue Hole in New Mexico.

Thanks Cliff. I'll check into Waterways.

Deepthinker; thanks, but I'm looking for glass blades. they seem to be a lot more rugged than carbon fiber.

I've had Matrix blades in Picasso Black Team pockets for three years with no glue.
