My bi-fins are dying a slow death.... got the right foot pockets (Omer) but unsure what blades to buy.

I have Picasso carbons but the guy who so generously gave them to me custom-made them and apparently they were sliced off at the top and made shorter. They keep popping out the new foot pockets (yes i know i need to screw them in) but before i do any major works I thought about buying new blades.

Any suggestions from the girls? What do you all wear?

I'm not a girl but i'm one of those dudes who looks like a lady (Aerosmith hehehe) , Spierre Carbon makes a good fit with Omer Footpockets and DiveR. So if you are planning Carbon go Spierre Pure Carbon very lightweight and gave me more speed that I can handle. For Fiberglass, i'll go for DiveR, they have the mini version if you dont like the lenght. But since I'm a newbie my opinion might not be worth it coz i only compared it with my Beuchat Carbon ( http://forums.deeperblue.com/goods-sale/81792-beuchat-mundial-carbone.html )which im now selling coz i already have the 2 that i mentioned. Wassim Zein is selling the XXOne Anax blades which also fits Omer but you just have to glue them.

Cheers

Elvis

yep diveR are great but you have to make sure you get a soft soft fin as the med and hard can be hard! too hard for me, (im 85kg)
i know Ray has some new ones out now that are great. i watched him wrap them around his arm 3 times. yet they did not feel flimsy. unreal fins

i am a massive fan of c4 flaps. i have had mine for bout 3 years and cant falt them.

we have a few girls in our club and i have help a few of them pick fins and have run "fin nights" where all the suppliers bring their fins in and we as a club get to test them all.

the thing i have seen with girls picking fins is they go for thin blades as wide blade tend to ether clip as they swim or make them swim with their legs apart and it stuffs with there stream line.

i think c4 would make a "15" stiffness blade (falcon style to fit omer footpockets) if you ask

at least, i konw they made it in the past

I am going to go for samdive's suggestion and buy some leaderfins, soft blade :)
