Recently, I noticed that somebody posted a question regarding making fiberglass blades for their footpockets, and I also noticed that you can buy plastic and carbon fiber blades for footpockets. So the question I have is I have heard of Kevlar and heard that it is strong and flexible, could you make Kevlar blades for your footpockts?
As I am not an engineer and do not know each materials pros and cons, what would be the advantages/disadvantages of Kevlar over say fiberglass/plastic/carbon fibre?
Cheers,
