BLUE SEVENTY nero comp long leg male

Does anybody has experience with this suit. I saw Goran and Matt Malina has it. Others? What size dou you guys use and how flexibile it around the chest? I ask it because i have big chest and relative low height so i dont know wich size do i have to order it.

My parameters:
chest: 104cm
waist: 76cm
height: 174cm
weight: 69kg

I have recommended them to Matt Malina. I use M30 size.

Hight 189cm, weight 83kg to 93kg (depending on seazon), weist 96-91cm a chest 108cm.

It must be tight to suit you. I wouldn't worry about bigger chest. It will stretch especially in upper part.

Bee carefull with handling, getting dressed. It is very delicate and better to hold it by finger tips than longer nails .
 
in addition, if you buy it via internet, you can try it and if it doesn't suit you, you can ask for different size within 14 days without problem.
 

Hi Rob - i actually just ordered a blue seventy suit myself because i tried one at the LAAC US nationals and i really liked it. Finding exactly what i wanted was hard because there are not a lot of dealers here in the United States so i turned to Australia and found a resource that was super!!!

Jane Holmes at the aqua shop helped me figure out exactly what i needed based on my discipline and on my measurements. plus if you don't mind paying the fedex charge they ship it directly to you in 2 days - terrific service!

LOL - these guys were 300m down the road from my workplace in Brisbane I tried a Nero on a while back and it was slightly big. The lady said she'd check in their warehouse over the weekend and let me know. I went back a week later and the shop was gone! Glad they're still around, the lady is quite nice.

Would this Blue Seventy be suitable for dnf? I am looking for a proper affordable suit for pool disciplines for quite some time now and I am still not sure what I should get. The Blue Seventy seems to be on sale right now...
 
My understanding was that because they're not FINA legal anymore, they're not in production anymore (shorter leg is still legal).

They're very hydrodynamic, but not buoyant so if you're a "pack like hell & wear lots of lead for momentum" DNF diver then keep this in mind. I've equalled PB's in the Nero, I like it, but I suspect a 2 or 3mm tri suit might have the edge. I don't think the difference would be massive.

Tanks for the answer! I might better go for the tri suit then as dnf is my favourite discipline in the pool.
 
I've done P.B.'s in trisuits (Orca Apex 2) and NeroComp suits. Because the trisuits don't fit me very well I loose some energy extending the arms over my head. I do much prefer the sleeveless fast suits like the NeroComp because of that. The NeroComp allows you to feel the water so much better that IMO it's much better for training anyway. If I remember correctly Goran swam his 200 meter DNF in Wiesbaden last year in the NeroComp or similar suit. I've got a couple of NeroComp's myself because with intensive use they are only good for 6 months and after that I find the speed difference with a new suit simply to big. One suit I therefor keep for competitions only.
 
Two great suits if you can find them are old jaked fastskins or arena glides both discontinued but still around.
 
Does anyone have experience with the Blueseventy Nero 10k? They offer it for 100€ at the moment, while the nero comp would be 150€. What is the difference between the two suits anyway?

Thanks for the help picasso and others. The nero comp is relative cheep now and on the this week i can try it what a swimmer used. They told me that is the problem with these suits you can wear it only 20-30 times. After that the material starts to expand or tear. I would like a sleeveless suit because i loose energy to extending the arms in neoprene like Eric sad.

az i know the difference is the tailoring. The 10k is made for long distance swimming/wearing and as you i think abought it or a female suit. looks like that's better to me (size ) rofl
