went blue water hunting today. i shot 3 dolphin 1 tripletail, 1 hogfish 1 red grouper 1 black grouper. there was like 10 dolphin all together. what a beautiful day out there. we ran about 20 miles due south of key west in about 700 to 800 depth range, we looked for weedlines and debris, about 10 am we found a bunch of rope floating with dolphin , a couple deep wahoo, and tripletail . then we came in and did a wreck dive in 85ft ,(65 to the deck) i was able to touch the deck, the pool training is working great! my buddy shot a permit about 15 lbs and a 350 to 400lb jewfish swam up and took the fish spear and all! the mono ultimately broke and he lost his spear. absolutely no current today. water is 79 degrees air is 82degrees wind was east southeast at 5 miles per hour key west rules!
