Boat rebuild

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Jonny I have been pondering about the little lifters too!
They are a built in feature though & according to WSF the boat has legendary build quality & there are still several owners using them on the forum.
However I found two large ingots of lead in the bow locker & there is also a wedge fitted under the motor bracket!
So what I have done is to move the point of balance about two foot forward to hopefully compensate?
The model that followed this one had a forward cuddy so I suspect there was an issue?

Any more updates foxy any sea tests n pictures it looks great . which boat stays? both nodoubt!..what fishfinder/depth unit have you got you said about two ..i picked up a little garmin 150 .ive fitted it but havent got the boat in yet to test it out and set it up. soon i hope.

Well yes some progress - fitted new hydraulic cables (£120) new limpet style controls & wiring loom (£275) I have had some SS work done, fitted a auto bilge pump & lots of other small jobs.
Still to do = connect up wiring & bleed hydraulics, fit battery & various hatches, paint deck & make a door for the anchor locker.
the problem is we are having a family wedding in my garden in 4 weeks time & I have been going flat out working on that however considering the boat is in my garden it will have to be finished by the wedding time!
I have had three offers to buy the boat - I am going to give her a run & see what I think first....
PS I caught 7 lobsters in my 5 pots on Saturday making my total 27 this season so far:)

A little update, the boat goes well, 30 knots as empty as possible & around 20 knots cruising with two people & kit.... not a slamming boat

That look stunning wish I lived on the island so I could make you an offer !Have you been out in her much ?have you had people generally interested asking questions .

Yes mate I have been using her all summer!
I have not yet offered her for sale as the fishing really picks up at this time of year & she is great to get out to the marks at a reasonable cost on fuel.

We were gilt head hunting yesterday but none caught as yet!
