This is a "brand new" wetsuit that has never seen water or even been tried on. "Brand new" is in quotes because while it has never been used, it is a few years old but has been wrapped up and kept in a box. Don't worry, it doesn't smell funny.
This is a "Superstretch" Omer 5mm two-piece smooth skin neoprene freediving wetsuits. These are for COLD water, North East, California, Nor.Cal conditions.
Ideal for mid 50's to 70 degree water temps. This was a limited production run of suits OMER only made on trial basis to evaluate and never ended up producing them for the catalog. The suits have a "sandwiched" construction, meaning they are open cell interior, stretchy lining in the center for added strength, and smooth neoprene exterior. They are extremely warm and more durable than your typical single sheet open cell interior/smooth exterior-Yamamoto style-competition spearfishing suits but are not as stretchy. They sold for $480 for the 5mm at the time.

I'll add that the exterior is not completely smooth. the crotch area and the front of the "knees to ankle" portion of the leg are a nylon exterior. This is so that you won't tear through the smooth exterior when lying on the bottom. The hooded top comes with a built-in loading pad and beaver tail. the bottom is your standard farmer john.
