Last summer during the last dive of vacation in Jamaica, I saw a guy spear a lion. I want.... scratch that, I need to do that. I'm going to Belize in a couple months, is it allowed there and are they pretty abundant? Do you need anything besides a $40 Amazon pole spear? The dive operator in jamacia was charging an extra $150 for a lionfish certification, which seemed a little suspect.

I'll be diving with my 2 teenage son's (we are all certified divers do no issues there)

I long as I have your attention, I've never been to Belize. Can anyone recommend a good dive shop in San Pedro.

Thanks
