Thought I might as well share how I rigged my Mirage 125 for break-away. I got the idea from Salvimar where they do it this exact way for their pipe guns, though my version is slightly downscaled.
It's easy to make and can be finessed more but I did this in a small fishing village in Indonesia (with some parts my friends brought from China).
As the pics show, I just added an eyebolt to a reel mounting plate. I had the plate already. I think it's an Omer part. It comes with a sleeve but I later made my own sleeve which is shown in the pic (it also holds a camera "wing").

The floatline clips pnto the blue loop and there's plenty of hold in the eyebolt so that the float doesn't pull the break-away by accident. Yet, the shooting line pulls it easy enough.
The reason the floatline doesn't clip onto the shooting line in front of the eyebolt as most of these setups do is that I'm using the magnetic Palengas line release. Attaching the floatline directly to the shooting line would put more strain on the shooting line and very likely pull it off of the line release with any tug off the floatline.
