Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
With the lass on the left I bet there were a few periscopes out as well as snorkels. :blackeye

While I love skinny dipping as much as anyone else, I don't think I'd want to go in off the East Coast of Australia without a wetsuit, or at least one of them "stinger suits" on!

I've had jellyfish & other hydrozoans take a few attempts at stinging me, fortunately with neoprene between the nematocysts & my skin.

Probably they had someone go out & check the water for jellyfish before everyone went in? Hopefully :blackeye
 
You do Realise the East Coast of Australia is rather large? Only the very North is really a stinger haven.
 
I go nude in jellyfish infested waters :t

I never get stung, I am very good at ducking around them. But my buddies always do.
