I'm 3 months in to freediving. Reaching between 9 to 10 meters. Know I can go deeper and longer. Want to keep pushing to new personal limits. If your in the south of the island let me know.

I'm coming out to La Gomera in a couple of weeks for a fortnight stay - what's the water like, do I need a suit?

Personally I don't use a wetsuit as I fined the water to be warm at about 20 to 23. But it depends how deep your going, I'm not diving deeper than 10 meters.

I train depth north, where there are anchored buoys at 40, 60, 70 and 100m withing a swimming distance. PM me if you have the chance to come.

Excellent, I really didn't want the hassle of suits and weights on the plane, and prefer minimal kit generally. Can't wait.

I was going to bring my speargun but my friend who is putting us up is bit of a hippy and not sure she'd approve.
