I have had a hard Time finding the proper bungie material, and was wondering if anyone had any info. I have tried norprene and was unhappy.

Is this material for a shock cord or just general purpose bungie?

If you mean what I think you mean: I use 1/8" and 1/4" that I get from REI (outdoor gear store). It's a fraction of what they'd charge me at a dive shop. It's usually about 15 cent/foot.

I make mine out of something called "catapult". It can be bought in fishing shops.

What made you unhappy about the norprene? and which size were you using?
