It's time for a 5mm wetsuit for spearfishing. Does anybody know who's got the best prices online? My budget is preferably under 250$ and i'm looking for a hooded two piece for the fall and spring seasons. Black or camo it doesn't matter. I'd be willing to buy used if its in decent condition and the right size (5'10" and 185lbs) but i'd like to avoid that if i can. Things to keep in mind are shipping and import taxes and if anybody knows of any clearances or sales coming up i'd love to know... any advice?

Freedive Toronto uses a lot of aqualand wetsuits.

Made to measure / custom and inexpensive. Camo and black available.

I'm in the process of reviewing an Aqualand wetsuit, and its looking good, especially the outstanding customer service, good made to measure dimensions, good seems, and pretty fast delivery.

Same experiences on my side.

I just checked out the website and i have to say the prices are fair considering they make them according to your own measurements. However i see a very close resemblance to "Oceanos" wetsuits that are sold on ebay. They're pretty much identical, same colors and patterns, same loading pad, is it from the same source but with a different brand? Either way it looks decent especially with the 185$ price tag on it...

Please check out our suit selection. With your average height and weight ratio, there should be no issues with finding an off the shelf suit that fits well.
MAKO (Yamamoto) 2 piece green camo wetsuits in 3mm, 5mm and 7mm

They are custom made, and i know that aqualand makes them in-house... so... Looks like you did some detective work!

A lil bit of searching never hurts... something else thats worth mentioning is yakayasub 5mm wetsuits on ebay... Anybody have one? hows the quality? I figured it'll cost about the same thing as the aqualand (a lil less). Its not to custom spec but has a real nice STONE camo pattern on it. what do u guys think about it? any other brands worth looking into?
