Hello everyone.
I've been thinking about something. The mouthfill technique requires you to close the epiglotis AND open the soft palate. Some people can't seem to do that, even if they are clever and experienced freedivers. Fx I know of two Team World champions from Denmark who has never been deeper than app. 65m because of a common problem disconnecting the epiglotis and soft palate according to one of them... It is just so hard-wired, and can't disconnect no-matter what excercise they do...
So, why not go around??
Has anyone experimented with a tube from the mouth going in the nose???
It could be build into a modified nose-clip, closing one side, and letting a pipe go through the other fx.
I've made a picture to illustrate.
Anyone???
