decided that I like my new monofin so much that I am, finally, willing to part with some of my bi-fins.

First up are my C4 Flacon 40 blades mounted into Sporasub 42-44 footpockets. These are great spearing fins if you've got the guns to use them- I've been able to wear them up to 6 hours at once while spearing.

Incase you had a chance to try both, how stiff are those blades compared with OMER millenium medium stifness (not competition)?

The only OMER's I've used are the BAT 30's, which were stiffer, and the ICE blades- which were MUCH softer.

DUH!:duh

I thought I posted the auction link. Sorry.

Jon posted a [ame="http://cgi.ebay.com/C4-FALCON-Freediving-Fins-Carbon-Fiber-40s_W0QQitemZ230020071926QQihZ013QQcategoryZ16054QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem"]link to the online auction of his fins at eBay[/ame]. If you are interested in them, simply place your bid. If nobody bids higher, the system will notify you automatically and you will then have to pay the bid + shipping costs by a Credit Card or directly from your Paypal account (if you already have one). Just do not let you fool by the current level of maximal bid - experience eBayers usually wait the last few seconds to place their bid, to avoid increasing the price unnecessarily in advance and increasing the chance to win.

Hi Jon,

How do these compare to the 25s I borrowed from you or to kelpie mediums?

What monofin is that Jon? Reading all the threads on monofins got me even more confused :)

Just checked them at specialfins.com.
I like everything but price - 390.00 EUR ouch :)
Hmm... tempting, very tempting :)

It's simply the best mono I've had to date. I also own one of the Blue (colored) monofins with the omer pockets. It's comfy, but doesn't give the same performance of the carbon.

They also have a new beginner's monofin out with omer pockets on it that sells for 150 euro that you might want to look into. I thought about one just for the pool- because I didn't want to smash my carbon one up doing turns in the pool.
