I don't know what's boiling in the pot. Really. I don't know.
Just found this countdown page C4 website: it says 7 days from now some new product will be unveiled and has to do with graphite.....
C4 - Coming Soon

I saw. Intrigue isn't even the right word. I wonder what Marco is brewing up now...

The intrigue is killing me... they even have a count down timer now.

Here´s to hoping the new C4 offering will be non-retractable version of the Joker in 120 or 130cm. That would be an awesome gun for clear waters in the U.S.

With double 16mm bands an a 7mm shaft, it would be a nice choice in between the Mr. Carbon and the Urukay.

:friday

Cheers,
Claudio

Maybe a new fins?

Hi Podge,

Yes, hopefully all the hype won´t be for a long sleeve version of their t-shirt.

Cheers,
Claudio

No, those you posted are the new Skorpio NTT (entity?), entry level carbon blades with Mustang footpockets. Carbon anyway, not graphite.

It's still unclear if the soon-to-come graphite products are about spearguns, fins or.......pastry?

I hope so, Podgers, but I can't tell yet.
All I know is:

1) If it's Beer...Drink it!
2) If it's Pie...Eat it!
3) If it's neither ot the above..............oh, shiat, oh well never mind.

It's a new speargun. Looks nice. I wonder how the bands are positioned in that muzzle.

Nice, they did listened to me .

C4's new speargun is a non-retractable two-banded speargun with 7mm shaft and is offered in the 120 and 130 sizes (116 and 132 to be exact).

What a beautiful gun... that muzzle looks simple and clean.

Cheers,
Claudio

Oh well, shame it wasn’t pie or beer.
Nice looking gun though, sleek and sexy, just like me…!

Good question, I'll try to find out and post here.

If you notice from the photos, the trigger is in stainless steel like the Mr. Iron and not titanium like the Joker/Mr. Carbon/Urukay. This should make the price a little lower.

Also, the reason the gun is being shown without a reel is that C4 is coming out with a new model reel called the Ghibli HL/HM. They should be posting photos of the new reel soon.

lovely shape and muzzle, but why do they insist on that silly line release? it must twist the spear a tiny but on firing, or am I not understanding how it works?

Hi Azapa,

These line releases are something to get used to during loading. Once you get the hang of it, it is no problem.

They don't interfere with the shaft on firing as the mono should not be wrapped around them too tight.

Cheers,
Claudio

Claudio, lets say i hunt in currents, and don't like the line flowing everywhere getting tangled on the bottom, i give the reel a little tighten after loading. When the spear is released from the mechanism, that tension must pull it to the left. The spear will hit right of where I am aiming??

I love the gun, and C4, but would not buy one only for that reason, unless, in practice i am completely wrong...

I will accept one as a gift though, just too prove me wrong

Ha, ha, I too waited forever for a C4 as a gift. Then I gave up and decided to gift myself a few times .

You would have to see the gun setup to see that there really isn't any significant tension on the line release. These would not be considered one of the most accurate euro guns for nothing.

Regarding prices, C4 is telling me that this new gun will cost a little more than the Mr. Iron, and a little less than the Mr. Carbon!! Very nice for a two banded gun from C4. I'll have to get myself one .

C4 is saying that the 83 and 88 sizes will be available in mid May and the 116 and 132 sizes will be available in June.

Cheers,
Claudio
