C4 graphite?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Azapa: don't worry. That is a non existing problem.

I must say that this C4 graphite is the best looking factory made speargun I've ever seen. Looks like it has a potential to be the fastest tracking gun of the all.

WOW. Hat's off again to the C4 Development team. Another Masterpiece. Amazing.

Marco Bonfanti is the man. He makes all the drawing work.

I think it might be interesting to add a pic of him. So you see the man.
In his hands in pic below, the blades (branded sporasub but made by C4 twenty years ago) used by Pelizzari for the first ever constant weight world record with carbon bifins, and Marco Pantani's C4 made bycicle (for those who are not into cycling, Pantani won both the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia in the same season: a cycling legend).
I'm posting this just for your curiosity and because I honestly believe the man deserves a lightspot of glory.

Thanks for posting Spaghetti. To me, C4 are the best designed guns I've seen. It's good to see the man behind them and amazing that he's equally as talented with such a broad range of product.
This new Muzzle concept is incredible. I don't quite understand as I'm only seeing the photos. Does the band stay in place without any retainer? 1 or two bands? Do you have any pictures of this gun muzzle Loaded? Really this is the most inspiring Speargun I've seen in a long time.. maybe even longer.

I don't think there are yet any available images with the gun loaded. On an italian forum, Mr. Bonfanti said he'll not post them until the new reel is ready too (still under testing). Done that he'll post pics of the gun all kitted with the reel.

Meanwhile, I am practically sure that the Graphite muzzle works somewhat like the one below (Persiko's Audace muzzle). The loop band (or bands) are inserted from under to over, and stretched parallel to the bands. Two shots to give you the idea.

Hi Spago,

Thanks for posting a photo of Marco! Even though I've traded posts with him, I had not seen his photo before. I think he is a cut above all others in the designs of his products.

Regarding the muzzle, I think you are correct... you can say it will function similar to the muzzle of the Urukay/Joker, except that you will be able to swap bands on the fly without the use of a tool because of the opening in the front.

I was curious to see where the mono would wrap when the gun is loaded... right now I am thinking that it will be similar to the how the Mr. Carbon is wrapped: two mono wraps, with the first one wrapping inside the left "horn" from the top and the second wrap wrapping from under the left "horn", around the shaft and under the right "horn" again.

Cheers,
Claudio

The horns remind me of a Nero Lambo.
I handled a new MR Iron last month that a friend has, I just love the spirit and design of these guns, Viva Italia:friday

Cheers, Don

It's still under factory testing. Should be available from summer with the new reel, voice is spread. From what I know, after unveiling the gun they started working on a dedicated reel and that's (the reel) what the delay in testing is about....

Reactions: Don Paul
Update: The latest I've been hearing is that C4 had to change the muzzle design of the Graphite to a more streamlined variation of the reliable Urukay/Joker muzzle design.

Apparently the second band sometimes dislodged from the original muzzle design during the shot. Below are some photos of the new muzzle that someone was kind enough to post at one of the Italian forums. The gun is apparently available with this new muzzle and the old C4 reel. Availability seems to still be very limited.

The original muzzle idea did look a lot sexier. But in terms of functionality, I really like the sturdiness and reliability of the Urukay-styled muzzle.
