hola amigo! Always a nice surprise when you show up Joe. Well I JB Welded that insert and it looks and feels solid. Water testing and time will be the litmus tho. It really is a lovely gun and I'm stoked to do some more field testing. guppy jobfish aren't all i've shot with it. Check out "Capturing thanksgiving dinner in Indonesia" on youtube. there should be a second clip for another segment. These are some 17-20kg king mackerel (tengirri) we shot off Lombok. They are insanely good eating over here-way better than the atlantic or pacific version. Forgive the amateur second shots-we didn't have a thanksgiving turkey and didn't want to risk losing a fish. That day was unreal conditions-purple water, 84F, wahoo, baby yellow fin, 3 black marlin, a.pompano, mahi-of course it only lasted 6 hours and then the currents switched. I'd think about getting a urukay sooner rather than later-all indications are that the bottom could fall out on the dollar-meaning for me at least I could be home to the snow sooner than planned. All my best to the crew. will report back as reportable bits come in, inchallah...
