Has anyone found out what these actually are yet?

Fibreglass? Fibreplastic?

I've only seen them on one website so far - and it says they are glass-carbon-fibre - which is what the normal C4s are.....

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Ben

The VTR has a layer of carbon in the middle laminate down just over half the fin, anlged at the toe.

I haven't tried it yet, but will let you know how it compares to the Falcon

And finaly Solve the Mystery of the VTR fin!!

for the record, I import C4 fins to NZ, So i don't want to be found biased.

I won't use them personaly as I use my Falcons for everything, ive done about 60hrs in them so far and they are still sweet, lots of scratches!! A customer has requested the VTR beacuse of their views on Carbon fins and would prefere a glass fin, also the price is cheaper than carbons. I will try them out with him to see how they go.
