Hey folks,
I've been using my Gara Professional LD for some time now and am pretty much satisfied with them concerning stiffness, comfort and usability.
Unfortunately, the footpocket doesn't fit me while wearing 5mm neoprene socks and thus I'll have to get a new pair of fins with bigger footpockets.
Also the Cressis are a bit "too wide", when I have my legs naturally extended, the fins touch each other. This results in a light "rolling"-motion of my whole body while diving as I have to spread my legs.
These two facts brought me to the C4 Wahoo, which seem to have a very comfortable footpocket AND are a little less wide (195mm compared to the Cressi's 228mm). I hope this could help me holding my legs more naturally.
Furthermore, the Wahoos are relatively inexpensive and made from plastic as far as I understand, making them less delicate to handle than carbon fibre).
Now to my real question:
I can only get them with the amber/brown blade at the moment, which is described as MEDIUM stiff at the C4-website but in most forums referred to as SOFT. Some posts also mention a black blade which is supposed to be stiffer, but not shown at the manufacturer's website...Does anybody of you have any experience how these two blades, brown and black, compare to the Gara Pro LD regarding stiffness?
Thanks for your replies,
Josh
