I'm interested in buying an underwater camera. I've been lookingat the sea life dc500 with external flash and the bonica snapper-xp with external flash. Both units are under $600. new to underwater photography and would appreciate input. I'm a recreational diver aow and plan to use camera in warm water (caribbean, hawaii). Do I really need the external flash. Thank you.

Nick, this is the thread you need. Happy reading. I fancy the DC500 to.
