Camo wetsuit and stealth

I was trying out my new Polosub camo wetsuit (very nice) and something struck me - after hitting the bottom, pretty quickly all of the wrasse and small pollack seemed to come heading straight for me to check me out and then hang around me for the rest of the dive. I was lying there, in silence making as little movement as possible, it does beg the question that if these small, vulnerable fish are coming to me, then what's the point of the camo suit? I could argue that the suit is so good that I seemed non-threatening, however, if it was so good then they wouldn't be aware of me.
Also, I tend to hold on to a throng of kelp just to help keep me stable, could this be making a low frequency sound that I can't hear but the fish can?

funny, i never even considered it before - like you say, all the rockies come to take a look, as do bass, etc if i'm lucky enough, but maybe the camo lets them come a little closer than they might if i was in flouro yello? or seal black?
another thought - maybe its better to not be too stealthy - some people make grunting sounds or twang their bands to attract fish. I wonder whether any 'distressed' sound works ok?

Like your thinking Manalive !. I'm just going to order one .How have you found it ?what pattern did you go for n colour any extras ? Pm me if you won't ta.Back to the fish any big noise alian lump dropping into there world is going to draw attention ....food...predator ..but you thinking right can they see smell feel you ?.Making any noise I think will attract fish in but some may scare them away some may be like a magnet .they definitely are inquisitive from my latest dives deep tones may be good and /or travel far under water like a low deep fog horn would .picking up more fish drawing them in to range ?

I got the 7mm lined open cell N17 camo main image here: Lined open cell spearfishing made on measure wetsuit - Polosub I also got chest, elbow and knee pads, as I've torn the nylon in quite a few places on my 5mm Elios, plus a pissette (yes, you look like a wrong un when getting changed, but it stops your suit from stinking at the end of the day). It's a very nice suit, highly recommended

Only the finest Italian bespoke suits for me Foxfish, I always want to look sharp. I think it's the 3 inch neoprene c**k that does it :-/
