Can a deep dived be achieved with reverse pack only?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

Hi all,
Is it possible to do a deep dive (40+) using reverse pack only or mouthfill is necessary ?
 
It is possible and not uncommon, but I find that the divers who go deep with reverse packing are the ones who do it unconsciously.
Anyone who finds equalisation getting "harder" as they go deeper will have a much better time switching over to mouthfill... providing they have proper guidance.
