As the topic says.

I thought it was a Young Amberjack, but then thought it was a Mediterranean Trevally. Different people telling me different things. Can someone verify what fish this is? Thanks

How sure are you? 75% of the people i've asked say it's a mediterranean (golden?) trevally. I'm so confused!

We call it Gof (lat. Seriola dumerili).
Greater Amberjack.
Young Amberjacks have this specific yellow color, and their color is different from adult Amberjack.
That is what I think.

My guess was a toung amberjack. Sorry to be thick but you think it's a greater or young amberjack?

Hello
I know the name in Greek language. It's called "Mayatiko" and in (lat. Seriola dumerili ) In Greek it's written like that.
MΑΓΙΑΤΙΚΟ. Ιt belongs to the B class when it comes to price value. Personally i find it fantastic when it is grilled (BBQ)

Yeah I had confirmed it was a young greater amberjack. When I posted this pic I was still a newbie in fish names.
