Cancellation of MV 'Panorama Explorer' - Oonas Divers

If anyone out there is due to join the MV 'Panorama Explorer' out of Marsa Alam and has today received a letter from Oonas which not only transfers the charter to one of the Blue Planet fleet of vessels but also changes the agreed intinerary, please get in touch with me immediately by PM. The affected charters seem to be 03 Aug and 10 Aug. Collectively we need to put pressure on Oonas to ensure the Deep South trip to St Johns is not substituted with lesser experiences to reefs in the vicinity of Marsa Alam, which is being offered in subsitution.

At the 11th hour and 59th minute I received a confirmation from Oonas which confirmed that the Blue Pearl would be following the same itinerary as the Panorama Explorer.

Most of the other guests expressed similar concerns and felt that the change of boats and 'open ended' nature of the replacement intinerary was not well handled by Oonas.

Anyway, the trip turned out very well. The Blue Pearl is excellent with a great crew and guide (Pia). Frankly, I'm considering another trip on this vessel to the Marine Parks.

I'm off the Shagra this week. Anyone else going?
