Hi Deep thinker
I have been diving Soetwater for the last 20+years and I know of nice fish at Soetwater(Steenbras) ,But while the North is blowing you are gonna waist your time with diving.So I will tell you to pack your cooler box and not your dive bag.
Anyway as you know I dive every weekend I just not know where as of yet.Also to let you know I shot some nice Gallie on sunday at Kapteins klip.

Im thinking of meeting there at 11ish be in the water by 11:30 12:00 diving for a bit and having a quick braai and going home not too late. But come around brotha, you can mos arrive and leave when you want you dont have to stay the whole time...

Dahab was real cool! Like unbelievable diving venue. Two weeks definitely not enough time to get into things though. Didn't really achieve what I wanted to do depth wise, but super amped for more freediving here in Cape Town. Sorry haven't got in touch yet, just things have been hectic here work-wise: especially when you're still in travel mode!
A highlight was watching Martin Stepanek break the world constant weight no-fins record (although there's some controversy surrounding it now). It was so cool - being in the water about three metres from his dive line and watching the whole dive and warm-ups abd then his surface protocol.
Any diving Jeff? I checked on your website about the Banff film festival - awesome news! You gonna check any of it out?
