Hi everyone, I'm trying to decide between getting the 2 fins mentioned, so far I've figured some gd and not-so-gd points of both:

Capt nemo:
gd:
composite fibre blades - heard they are very durable (vs carbon blades)
can choose stiffness of blade
not-so-gd:
shallower footpocket-blade angle (12 deg)

omer stingray:
gd: 22 deg footpocket-blade angle
not-so-gd: plastic blades

comparing price, the Capt nemo's are more expensive in Australia ($330) but if I order them direct from water way its about the same as the stingrays ($250). Problem is I dont know if I can do that because when I emailed water way they directed me to the distributor in Aus.

Does anyone have any thoughts on which fin is better, how much the angle influences how the blade feels, and where else I can order them from? suggestions for other fins are welcome too, but i'm limited by foot size (38-40) but I wear 3mm socks, and more if its cold.

Thanks!

if possible, try on a pair of each. The fit will really matter when you are wearing them. Not sure, but i think the Nemos have a wider footpocket (wide) than the stingrays (medium).
